SHIPPING
TRACKING SHIPMENTS
An automated email with the package tracking details is sent as soon as your order is shipped. Tracking details are provided by the carrier.
DELIVERY BY UNITED PARCEL SERVICE (UPS)
If your package shipped via UPS, visit the UPS website. UPS tracking is detailed, with package level scans at each step of the journey. Delivery dates are guaranteed and refunds are given when a delivery date is delayed (guarantee does not apply to shipments which are delayed due to causes beyond UPS’s control).
DELIVERY BY POSTAL SERVICE
If your package shipped via US Postal Service, visit the USPS website. All delivery times are estimates; there are no delivery guarantees for packages shipped via the Postal Service. Domestic packages are typically scanned at each USPS Sort Facility. International packages are scanned when they leave the United States. No additional scans or details are available until the package reaches the Customs office in the destination country. When the package is processed by Customs, the tracking will be updated. Though you could continue to monitor the tracking from the USPS website, international customers will often obtain more accurate tracking details by tracking the package from the website of your home country's postal service.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Really Right Stuff ships all orders from our headquarters in Lehi, Utah. Any package shipping outside of the United States is considered an international package. International packages ship via US Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS). Shipping via FedEx is an option if customers have their own FedEx accounts; contact us. Shipping via other couriers is not available. Ship cost estimates obtained on our website are real-time estimates based upon your shipping address and the package weight. Please provide a complete postal code in order to obtain the most accurate ship cost estimate.
Ship costs include carriage and insurance only; customer is responsible for any duty or tax-related costs. Please include your VAT ID number (when available) in order to support import clearance. After your package ships, you will receive an email that includes the ship method and package tracking number. Agents may or may not charge a clearance fee for handling the customs procedures.
Really Right Stuff reserves the right to hold any order for confirmation. In rare cases we may request additional information to confirm the card number, card holder, and billing address.
US POSTAL SERVICE OPTIONS (USPS)
The US Postal Service offers multiple ship options; delivery times vary depending upon the shipping method, processing time in customs in the destination country, and shipping carrier in the destination country. Note that the ultimate carrier is not always the postal service in the destination country. Some countries contract deliveries with private companies. RRS is unable to specify how your package is handled once it is released to the US Postal Service. For example, we cannot require a signature for delivery, we cannot specify to leave the package with a neighbor if you're not home, and we cannot specify a certain day or time for delivery. Every detail about package delivery is controlled by the postal service (or their contractee) in the destination country. If you have special delivery requirements, we recommend selecting UPS for delivery of your order.
First-Class Package International Service: Limited to orders with total value less than $400, total package weight less than 4 pounds. Not available for all destinations. Deliver time varies by destination, but Really Right Stuff has experienced ship times as long as 8 weeks using this service.
Priority Mail International®: this service provides limited tracking and delivery times vary from 2 to 6 weeks. Not available for all destinations. This is the preferred postal service option for shipments to France.
Priority Mail Express International™: this service provides limited tracking and delivery times vary from 1 to 5 weeks. Not available for all destinations. In general, ship times for packages going west (e.g., Australia, New Zealand, Asia) are quick; about 1 week. Ship times for packages going east (e.g., Europe) are slower and average about 3 weeks.
UNITED PARCEL SERVICE OPTIONS (UPS)
UPS offers the most reliable delivery for most international packages. Door-to-door tracking of each package is provided, and UPS processes all customs paperwork so there is no delay. Really Right Stuff ships exclusively via Worldwide Saver (guaranteed delivery in 1 to 5 business days) or Worldwide Expedited (guaranteed delivery in 1 to 7 business days). We have negotiated excellent discount rates with UPS, and we pass those cost savings to you.
*Note that UPS delivery to some international areas carries higher operating costs. UPS charges an Extended Area Surcharge fee for delivery to these areas. If the actual ship cost for your order is substantially higher than estimated, Really Right Stuff will contact you to confirm the additional charge.*
UK
DUE TO CHANGES IN VAT/DUTIES LAW, STARTING NOVEMBER 17, 2021, WE CAN ONLY SHIP TO THE UK FOR ORDERS OVER $400.
UPS is the preferred shipping method to the UK: Our UK customers report that they strongly prefer delivery by UPS. The UPS service is more efficient and UPS is easier to deal with. Delivery via postal mail is handled by Parcelforce (see below) and we consistently hear tales of woe regarding delivery. Customers have complained about Parcelforce holding the package without notification, delayed delivery without reason, and packages being returned to RRS for failure to pay taxes even though the customer has not been notified.
If you choose delivery by Priority or Express Mail: Once your package is released from UK Customs, it is handled by Parcelforce (not our choice; Royal Mail contracts with Parcelforce to handle all Express packages). We urge you to track your package closely at the US Postal Service website. As soon as tracking details indicate that the package has been released from UK Customs, then you should track your package directly at the Parcelforce website, http://www.parcelforce.com/.
The parcel will go to your local depot, where the appropriate charges described above will be calculated. Parcelforce will also levy a clearance fee and add that to the customs charges. As soon as the parcel is shown as "Awaiting payment of charges" you may or may not be able to phone the local Parcelforce depot (they may then accept credit card payment and immediately release the package for delivery). However, some customers report that you must wait for Parcelforce to mail you a letter giving you a new 17-digit code that you can use to pay the customs charges.
CANADA
Carriers: Our UK customers report that they strongly prefer delivery by UPS.
Brokerage/Bond Fees:All deliveries incur a handling fee of approximately $10. This fee may be listed as either a brokerage fee, a bond fee, a handling fee, or a clearance fee.
Sales Tax: The carrier will collect the sales tax. Depending upon your province, you will pay either HST or PST+GST.
Duty: No duty is due since all Really Right Stuff products are made in the United States.
Additional UPS Delivery Fees: UPS will charge a COD fee, but you can avoid this by prepaying the taxes in advance of delivery. Call 1-800-PICK-UPS (select option 3 for UPS Customs Brokerage). We encourage you to call UPS to pay in advance as soon as your package has a tracking number and appears in the UPS system (don't wait for UPS to contact you). Ask about UPS Prepayment or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) plans; this may require setting up an account with UPS. Note that UPS drivers only accept Canadian issued credit cards, money order or check.
UPS Customs Clearance: Canada law requires that you specify the broker you wish to handle customs clearance. UPS will contact you prior to delivery to confirm your choice of customs broker. When UPS Customs Brokerage handles your imports, there is no Entry Preparation Fee for routine customs clearance, and the brokerage service is included in your ship cost. If UPS has never performed brokerage duties for you before, you will be asked to fill out and return a "Power of Attorney" document that UPS will keep on file.
AUSTRALIA
Australian import regulations indicate that items imported into Australia with value less than A$1000 are not subject to duty and tax. Regulations are subject to change and Really Right Stuff is not responsible for providing current import regulations.
