There are three components that Really Right Stuff considers critical to shooting single-row panos quickly and smoothly:
PC-LR Panning Clamp: this solves leveling.
MPR-CL II Nodal Slide: this eliminates parallax. We offer 5 different nodal slide options.
L-Plate: this allows the camera to be mounted in portrait mode. Our L-plates are model specific: select your camera manufacturer, then select your camera model.
Package for Shooting Single-Row Panos: Pano Elements, LR
We've combined the first two components from above into one package: our Pano Elements, LR.
Add an L-plate for your camera and you're ready to shoot single-row panos in 10 seconds. That's how long equipment setup will take you; we promise. To see just how simple it is, click through to our tutorial on how to shoot a single-row pano.
Packages for Shooting Multi-Row Panos
Once you mastered single-row panos you may wish to jump to the next level: multi-row/multi-column panoramas. This adds a level of complexity to your equipment setup because simultaneous panning is now needed in two directions: left/right and up/down. But the same basic concepts and fundamental equipment needed for shooting single-row panoramas still apply.
All panorama equipment from Really Right Stuff is modular in use invest in the essential pano elements, then add one of our omni-directional packages as you expand your photographic pursuits. Click through to our tutorial on how to shoot a multi-row pano
