The BEX-1.75 is used along with an appropriate quick-release clamp to extend the height of the vertical arm on a Multi-Row Panorama Package. This is useful for certain camera-lens combinations when one wants to shoot the zenith (pointing straight up), or at least increase the vertical tilting range (before the camera or lens runs into the horizontal bar). Though not necessary for most panoramas that most nature photographers create, those shooting spherical or virtual reality images will find this useful.
The BEX-1.75 can either be attached to a B2-FAB, B2-Pro or B2-LR-II clamp for quick release convenience, or it can be attached directly to the MPR-192 Rail. Use the two included captive screws for either application.
Anti-twist grooves mate with B2-FAB (legacy) clamp to prevent clamp movement under high loads
Dual captive screws ensure 100% rigid clamp joint
"I-beam" shape for extreme rigidity with less weight
Precision machined from the same 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum as all Really Right Stuff plates and rails

Quick-release operation of the BEX-1.75 spacer block requires use of a legacy version of the B2-FAB mini clamp. If you do not already own the legacy B2-FAB that has three tapped ¼"-20 sockets on the back (version "C"), please choose the BEX-1.75 Set.
This block is not compatible with the B2-FAB clamp currently sold online.
